I installed these puck lights.

I used the new Legrand Adorne line dimmer for LED's but the lights flickered. I had to put the lights on a switch without a dimmer. If you read all the reviews for the puck lights, the reviews are by housing color and others by quantity there is a reference to a Lutron dimmer that does work with the lights. It is not a show stopper to not have them on a dimmer but it would have been nice.

This is the solution I had my contractor do.

 

Tub shower is a lot simpler. Compared to the last walking I built with recesses and a large bench. For tubs I've always used hardiboard and red guard.

 

Yes but same water issues , kerdi is what we always use

 

I just did the math I havnt done a simple bathroom in 7 years so that may also be why. And now I've got a 2 year commercial job starting so won't be doing much home stuff for awhile. I may even start to miss dealing with homeowners....

 

Have you seen bosches new jobsite saw the reaxx I think.

Trying to plan how I want to operate on this upcoming project. And on I side note I sold them on a new conference table with a nice budget. So I get to pick out a few nice slabs of wood and do a custom table .

I didn't need anything too heavy duty and I can lift this by myself into my truck and it stands up inside the cap

 

I looked at that DeWalt system and wasn't too impressed

 

I'm looking for something like that, I'm locking everything up in a room and normally would use a large cart but was interested in something along those lines.

 

I keep wanting to get the Systainer stuff but can't write the cheque

The DeWalt racking system seemed kinda hokey to me because the boxes don't nest on each other like the Systainer boxes

 

They do have clips that lock the boxes together. And the racks make it seem like its shelves. I'd like to see it in person first though.
I'm debating the domino and everyone is slowly copying the sytainer I just wouldn't travel with festool stuff often. Last week I dropped my dewalt 20v brushless 14' twice I drop a festool I'm chasing it down.

 

I mean they slide onto the racks individually but not as one unit unless I was not really paying attention

 

It has both a slide style load and the ability to lock together.
