We drove all the Simpson SDS screws for 60 seismic hold downs with our 18V Makita cordless impact drivers and there is like 20 per hold down

Installed some under the counter and over the counter lights for the wife. She's happy.

Yep....five 2.6' LED pucks on top. Unfortunately the mounting header for the cabinets would not allow me to pass my fish tape from one of the counter height outlets that I was going to convert to a plug/switch stacker to power them. I tried until my anger began to build! I decided to go with plan-B. I custom made a junction box with hidden pull-chain switch mounted on top of the cabinets. The pull-chain drops down inside one of the cabinets to turn them on and off. I just used the over the stove microwave plug to juice my custom switch.

The lower lights are three 2.5' dimmable LED pucks. The switch/dimmer module is flush mounted under the front corner of last cabinet next to the fridge. Worked nicely has I just plugged them into the outlet behind the fridge. The slack between the pucks simply rolls into the pucks by turning them.

Does this count as "home improvement"? If not...it's garage improvement.

Built a wall-mount for my Lund hitch-rack extender a few weeks ago.

It's the only brand I've had for drill/divers since almost forever. The drill is non-hammer, because I didn't want the weight and bulk for 95% of the jobs I do, and I have the 1/2 in Dewalt corded hammer drill if I really need that option.

Now working on some more stuff at Lee Valley and Amazon for the truck...:spy:

That sounds heavy. Is it a different form factor than the current 2 and 3 ah?

    1. He talks funny like.
    2. Impressive.
    3. I bet the price is too.
    4. Good upgrade for me 8-10 years from now
    5. Should be compatible with the new ones I'm getting.
    6. Note to self, avoid older small circular saws (I am looking for one of those, too).
