I assumed that was an exterior wall if he was going to insulate it

The new terminology catching on around here lately is not 'Vapor Barrier', but 'Vapor Retarder'

I meant the exterior of the exterior wall. I have installed paper backed insulation from the inside and had to slit the paper to let it breath.

Thats down to the permeance rating of the material and whether your strategy is to dry the wall cavity inwards or outwards which is also determined by your local climate / heating / cooling needs

Hoping it don't rattle around in the pipe.

I don't believe it will but worst case if it fell into the furnace, what could happen?

My current project is a 1200 square foot master bed/bath addition on pier and beam. Single story.
House wrap / 1/2 osb sheathing / wood frame(non backed fiberglass insulation) / Drywall (hardi in shower)
Under side of floor will be spray foamed.
Vertical 1x2s will be applied to the exterior before running the siding(drain field).

    Budget ~ tight

    Always open to suggestions.

The 1x2's are acting as a rainscreen ?

Are you going to vent the top of the assembly ?

Right now I'm not sure exactly where.

Top of my skull the pipe has a slight downgrade about 6 feet, then takes a 90 degree turn and is straight for another 6 ft or so. I doubt it can fall in to be honest.

I tried a 12 inch magnet stick and no dice. How long do they make the flex magnets?

Yes and flash/screen for insects. This will be my first time doing this, I am hoping to avoid wood cupping(back priming also). It also has thermal benefits in the Texas heat.
    Something like this-

There is no code requirement or issues with using rainscreen in your area correct ?

Yeah, like a tape measure or something.

Neonibdium (sp)... or as I say, the real strong silver magnets lol

Chris, tape it on good. If you have hard pipe, it will stick to the pipe wall easily. Flex not so much, just the wire.
