Not exactly the same , the one we used was flat with 2 dogs on each side and a torx screw straight down through the middle

Toothed edge goes into the groove then a screw driven at a 45° it pulls the clip down and shoves the board tight. Then the next board is slide into the non Toothed lip. It's a bit cumbersome. All painted stainless steel. The 1/4 gap looks big too. And making sure all the clips pull tight is a little bit of a pain. Over my whole run was only off by 1/16 over 12' so I was happy.

Eon decking was the composite we had fail. Removed and reinstalled twice on their dime. Only thing I've ever worked with that moved that much in a day. 16' at 8am 16' 1/4 at noon.

Yeah the GAF CrossTimber expanded but never shrank and actually jacked the deck framing right off the building

Shitty pic, but you get the point. 3 windows with center support in middle. It is visible and doesn't look the best. But you get used to it and eventually don't notice it. I don't think any rod would hold up without sagging for that long of a run.

Thanks, I posted the sketch with all the plant names incase you need some ideas. Low maintenance and should mature well. I also put some trees in the front yard, 2 river birch and an October glory maple.

I saw that list. My area is a bit smaller so I am thinking of just planting a single rhododendron in the space. I just have ot figure out if i want to "raise" it a bit or flatten it out. As it sits right now the builder didnt flattened the area out or anything so its got a mound to it. GF and I have been going back and forth on getting some of those 12x8x6 blocks and two a two high deal with them and then filling it with good dirt.

And of course the weekend decides to absolutely pour rain. Guess I can work on the roof truss things in the garage today. Damn weather has been odd this week. Yesterday was nice and sunny out, today pouring rain, tomorrow sunny again.

We went back and forth on the hight as well. Flat before now raised from additional garden soil with a grade to the sidewalk where it was dug down a few inches to try and keep the mulch contained during rains.

Also used the sod from the new bed to start on leveling this settled spot. Really the whole yard needs to be regraded.

Photinias that close together are going to make one hell of a hedge in a few years.

That's what I'm going for. I plan to keep them at about 5 or 6 ft.

That's a good height, but try to keep them narrow if you can. I made the mistake of letting mine get too wide and now it's hard for me to trim the top center.

@Maticuno how wide are yours? I would like to keep mine about 4 1/2 ft.

Mine are close to 10' in width. Mostly the fault of the previous owner, partly my fault for not trimming then back harder.

Oh wow! How far are the centers of each shub? I went off the nurseries advice on distance apart, but they seem pretty close based on research after the fact. I'm thinking about moving every other one and extending the row down the fence line. That would move them to 5ft centers vs the 2.5ft that was recommended.
