They are very bright on the steps. I personally like a little bit less, but they make the steps very easy to navigate at night

I had 60 of them on the property when I bought my house. Many trips to the landfill.

Got my first 8 post section of plywood jigs set , plumb and braced . Dug another 5 holes for phase 2 , picked up my Xypex from the batch plant today and painted the steels inside and out for the first 8 post section

    Trip #1

27 bags is half what I need for my first 8 posts

FML , mix yourself bags are by far my least favourite way of doing this kinda shit

Ugh. Can't have it delivered on pallets to your house? Do you at least have a mixer?

Could have had a pallet delivered tomorrow but the yard is only about 10 min drive from my house so I just went and picked it up with some other assorted crap I needed

Have a mixer rented for the weekend

We had to mix a pallet or two on this last lab after we removed a section of floor that was worth getting the indoor saw crew out for. The 3bag mixer was actually pleasant to use, I was surprised. In and out of the truck still sucks.

I was going to mix it in buckets but at an average of 6 bags / hole and using the Xypex I wanted it to be setting up at the same time and not introduce cold seams

Thank you! When we got the call to leave this home for a new job, the only thing I said was that I'd miss this yard! We started with NOTHING. Just grass corner to Corner.
We spent most of our after work and free time here in our hammocks, drinks in hand.

What would be the going rate to charge someone to repaint a two level deck? I was thinking 2.5 the supplies. Homeowner pays for supplies and my labor. Is that what is normal rates? Im the one going to be doing the work for the homeowners.

Got the steels suspended in the 4 holes that are gravelly and free draining , I'll hang the 4 others that have water in them one at a time prior to pouring each after I pump the water out

The holes in the steels are 3/4" , I made the holes in my jigs 13/16" . I used a 3/4" bolt through the top jig hole which tightly registered the top of the steels at the top of my jigs and then used 1/2" bolt for the bottom holes which allowed me to fine tune the steels for plumb in the front to back orientation

    Tomorrow is concrete day

    Well that officially sucked balls

Started mixing at 10:00 , finished up at 7:30

Ended up 3 bags short so only got 7 posts done but our local lumber yard is open on Sundays in summer so I will be able to finish up tomorrow
