I vote for the lighter green. Because like Scocar said about the heat and I like it.

I vote lighter green or even better reverse the colors and light green for trim.

On second thought you could go with the darker green, trim in gold and your ready for football!

Stumbled across an answer to my over-stuffed Makita cordless bag this morning at my local lumber yard , $2 in the bargain bin

It easily fits the drill , impact driver , a charger , a couple batteries and assorted crap

So I'm just going to put the bulkier tools in the big bag and add this one

Damn good idea though, but it gives me flashbacks.

When I was in boot camp I forgot my meal card (to get into the mess hall). We were already in formation so I just sucked it up and kept going. When I got to the door and told the mess attendant I forgot it, whoa did my DI go off. My penance? We had pull up bars in front of evvvvvverryyyy building, and evvvvveerrrryywhere on base.

For the next 8 weeks my DI would would shout my last name- "WHITE!!!??? HIT 'EM!!!!"

I did pull ups before each meal, after each meal, I got called out during runs when we came upon a set and I did them, they woke me up at 2:00a.m. and made me do them in my skivvies. When we were graduating he called me out in class A's and made me do them before I got my certificate.

Please don't let me go to your house. I would burn that motherf*cker to the ground.

The two green shades are close enough that the difference in the heat they will absorb won't be that noticeable.
    But!
The darker green will cool faster than the lighter green when the outside temp is lower than the surface temp.

Guys- my 10 Year old old dewalt 18v drill finally died and I need to replace it.

Any suggestions on what to get? I see a white makita 18v compact kit that comes with a drill and impact driver for $169 on Amazon (plus batteries/charger).

Also see the same kit but with blue for $199 at Home Depot.

Would either of these be fine? Or should i look elsewhere? You know the difference between white and blue makita?

Not a professional. Just a home do it yourself-er. Thanks.
