So I kinda like this for an interior idea for my wife's potting shed.

We have a couple sawmills close by and I can get pine boards rough sewn or smooth. Thinking of just a plain vertical run wall. Might just do a painted plywood ceiling to offset the wood walls. Not sure yet..

BTW, get the largest you can without permit. Once you start packing stuff in there, you'll wish you had more space. I recommend an opening window, too, for light and ventilation, preferably over a bench.

As a gardener, I think this is beautiful! Also check Habitat ReStore or other used building material shops. Great deals abound!

Our ReStore blows. Went there twice just looking around and prices were same as new for almost everything, except light bulbs and builder brass ceiling fixtures.

    Bummed.

There's a couple great salvage stores I've been to in the Bay Area. And one up in Petaluma. I've had great success with them, sorry yours wasn't the same.

Ours too. The ones we had in Oklahoma were really good. Nice variety and they actually posted there stuff on facebook.

    Reserected from the dead.

Agree... mostly. If that window faces south and your bench is under it, you will be blinded by the sun. You will lose your inside vision every time you look out that window. You will look down on the bench for that wrench you just put down and have a hard time finding it.

If you do wending in the shop, this will be double annoying.

Well yeah, I expect people to bring some site-specific common sense to their plan. Mine faced north. But I do wrench work in the garage. Shed was mainly for garden/landscape storage stuff.

I built my shed subfloor on deck block with 4x4 and 2x8 treated. Much easier than concrete but getting it square was a summbitch. Advantec on top of that. Its 8x12 with gravel under and about 18" out all around. Chicken wire around the bottom to keep the critters out. I also have a window over a bench as mentioned which provides good natural light but takes away some wall storage.
