    We have lots of rocky / poor soil or small sites here so sometimes you need to go to more advanced systems but in this case we did not

    You talking about like a pickling type finish but white (whitewash)? Where you can see the grain through it? If opaque (not see through) then you use a paint maybe a satin finish or a flat.

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    So, I found out my predicament with the tile flooring. The flippers installed straight to the sub floor with no underlayment. So, all flex is the floor itself. Now, I think I can fix that with some additive to the grout when I replace the broken stuff? Makes it a bit more flexible I guess? Anyway, not what I am here for today.

    My question is what type of rocks for under a deck? The deck itself is quite large, and I am not doing it for any drainage reasons. It slopes well to the yard. I have a line on recycled concrete I may use, but I am not sure if that is the right choice. Would that be bad to put under the deck? Or a decent option for something that I am just trying to make look a bit more tidy. Plus, my dogs go under there during the heat and rain.

    Second, I am going to lay rock after clearing out some grass on a side yard that leads to the back fence. What size should I do for there, and it is a bit of a drainage thing as I have a drain pipe from my sloped driveway that keeps getting clogged up by debris every few weeks.
