Yea we figured that out real quick.. After smacking your head on the floor joists a few times lol. Now we have pool noodles sliced open and wrapped around the floor joists for padding. Helps a lot!

Sure...I've been looking into hardware like this because I need to build a new rollaround project table that can be an outfeed table, mitre saw table, and router table all in one. Plus storage of course. Might be a bit of a fantasy to do all those well, but flexibility is good for amateurs with limited space.

Does finding the short in a circuit count as an improvement? Or is it just the unfucking of someone's unhandy work? All the outlets in my living room went dead when I was using a sander on the front porch. No circuit breakers were thrown, and all breakers tested postitive for current output. No loose connections on the actual outlets in the living room. Go into the crawl space, and I find a junction box with the romex not clamped properly at the knockouts. Fucking hot wire chafing on the sharp edge of the knockout. The j box was for metal sheathed wire and had internal clamps that can't work with romex nm. God damn mother fucking puke son of a bitch sorry ass excuse of an electrician who worked on this place before I owned it.

I am so tired of making stuff correct rather than actually improving other things that I would like to improve.

    Thank You!

Its a sign company out of Canada. They make retro looking signs. They have some cool custom signs you can order from them. I found them on the garage forum I'm apart of.

Curious George here - shouldn't the breaker trip with a short to ground ? Isn't that and over amping what a breaker is for ?

Started working on replacing the kitchen cabinet doors. The frames are good. They're all real wood and the layout is good so we decided to keep them and just redo the doors. The hood is a little low so we plan on taking out the small doors above the hood and raising it. Here is the original door:
    kitchen cabinets3.jpg

Here is a sample door I did. They're going to be shaker style. It is made with maple stiles and rails and maple 1/4" plywood for the panel. I priced out getting them done by a company. It would cost close to $1000 just for the doors unfinished. I figure I can make them myself for about $400 in material:
