Do you know what flooring that is? I just bought a house with a very similar floor in the living and dining rooms. I'm trying to find a match for the bedrooms.

I find them to be the best, use for renos too. Seriously had the same blade on for a long time, bent it a few times too and just bent it back and go! :sawzall:

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    Diablo blades are the best.

Nice clean lines, looks simple enough to do. My sister and brother in-law just purchased a house with a similar thing on one kitchen wall. Not my style but to each their own.

Thank you! Not really my style either but doing a solid tone of black instead of the mixed tones of wood a lot of people do really made it the modern clean look I like. It was fairly simple and people jaws drop when they walk in the house.

often times work gets done by the lowest bidder...

I like the wall, hopefully you sanded the bench...since pallets are so smooth ;)

It's demo day! At least the start of it. Time to say adios to the nastyass mouse and spider infested 8x10 cheap barn shed that's been here since I dunno when.

Day 1 will be removing all electrical.

HAHA the bench yes, as well as the kitchen table & benches. Table is pretty rustic, hard to clean too. Wouldn't mind a nice new table one day...

They go on sale from time to time for like a buck a blade or so once or twice a year. Just have to be quick as they sell out fast in store.

I got one of the dewalt combo packs of blades and have to say I'm not super impressed with them.

Easier said than done. Has to be a permissive burn day. And if they check to see it's not brush, I get a ticket. Plus it's mostly OSB. And the mouse turds... we have Hanta here, I don't need it airborne.

And it's too close to the house.

    And demo is more fun!

yikes hanta isnt to be messed with....50/50 chance of survival once you get it...When I was active duty a kid (18 or 19yr old)got that in the military dorms. They were supposed to be condemned but they didnt have room to put people so they put them in the condemned dorms...kid caught the hanta virus and almost died lost his hands and feet though in the process.

I don't know of any active cases in our area but I'm not taking any chances. Glasses. Respirator. Gloves. Coveralls.

Been debating on what to do with our fireplace. At first we were set on mortar washing the brick but now are second guessing ourselves and might just leave it. Anyone have any input?

Normal brick is our fireplace and the Pinterest is what we're planning on doing.
