Temporary attic access with ventilation. Hole is just under 4'×3'. Plenty of room for workers

 

I have a 48" commercial walk behind mower so building a swing set 4-6 feet off the ground doesn't really make sense. And i did build this, for a swing, which is off the ground and i can mow under. I wasn't looking to make a tree house

 

how do you keep the cable from slipping down?

 

Emptied and scrubbed clean the Koi pond then installed a proper filtration system. Bought the house a few months ago. The previous owner never finished the project. It was basically a hole of scummy water.

 

Pond Looks great! Gotta say though, for some reason it looks like you're photoshopped in to this picture.

 

A co-worker had one like that and an osprey came in and took his Koi....he wasnt too happy

 

That's just the photo filter I used. Here's another one of me the day before shoveling a years worth of fish shit out the bottom...

Well these guys came with the pond. If they get snatched then I'll just throw in some $3 gold fish.

 

It's tight. I cut the cable, put turnbuckle between the 2 pieces and tightened it down.i suppose i could put a few nails in the tree to keep it from sliding but i really don't see that happening

The job where we did the big irrigation / koi pond with the timber gazebo lost about 150 koi to an otter

I bought a Porter Cable 8 tool set last month, as it was on sale. Circular saw, jig saw, sawzall, oscillating tool, angle grinder, drill, impact gun...and...flashlight. Came with 2 20V lithium batteries too. I've been very pleased with them, my Craftsman was crap.

 

My bad....is this the same one that I've seen where you were landscaping and pouring the foundation or is this another one you have on the go?

No worries , we started this place in January with foundation work but no landscaping yet unless you mean excavations for the house
