I'd repair or replace it now. It's going to be the eyesore of your otherwise brand new shower.

Nothing is cheap. When you pay for someone to do it the hours saved running flex like a wet noodle across the basement might work out the same. No tripod, threader, math skills, etc... I hate that CSST so much I ran black iron up to a 2nd floor kitchen in a 1920s 2 family when I re-arranged everything.. took longer, and measurements had to be perfect, but at least I don't have that bright yellow noodle all over. I'm sure it makes sense in certain situations, it's just not for me.

Ah it makes me sick. Leave the CSST on the roll where it belongs.

If you are referring to the shiny thing that is the drain plug. If you are referring to the crack who knows 2 teenage girls use that bathroom!

It’s not through the enamel. You can refinish it for pretty cheap to get rid of the them or you can leave them and wait for the enamel to pop up.should just be porcelain over the cast iron. So any porcelain repair kit should do the trick given you follow the instructions.

Here's where we're at in the sanity testing job

After lifting and excavation under the front wall and joist system we added some bracing to the house because picking it back up off the ground would suck

Removed the wall section under the header I showed before that is carrying the shed dormer

That wall gone allowed us to bring the mini inside and lower the subgrade in the back half of the house where we needed to shit can the floor joist system

Having the interior brought down to our proper subgrade allowed us to put temporary carrying beams under the upper floor joists that carry the floor system as well as the roof rafters (temp beams are under rafter knee walls) , which in turn allowed us to remove the sections of exterior wall framing and complete our new excavations for our footing boxes

We have the footing boxes installed all the way around the house now , going to start on the interior bearing pads for the floor system tomorrow then tie in all the steel , hope to pour beginning of next week

Wow. Kinda hard to believe bulldozing it wasn't viable. Doesn't look like much, and their ain't much left in it. Or under it...

    More important.

Gas range is better for cooking. Quicker reaction to heat variance.

Electric oven is better for baking.
Better ability maintain constant and exact temperature.
