I have read that it is not a good idea to put a hot pot etc. Directly on the Corion.

We do not put hot pots onto the corion counter top. But that will not stop some ass hat relative from doing it. That's why I wanted to cut some scraps and put them on both sides of the stove, if they get damaged just sand them down and or throw them away.

We cut them with a circular saw at work....I have a top for my basement bar that I cut with just a regular circular saw. They turn out just fine...you can also router them.

Coronian can be worked with you standard tools, routerbits ect.

Do not set hot things on it.

It also makes horrible cutting boards as it will be hard on your knives

Got to love when the toilet handle breaks and the wife says just buy a new toilet instead of replacing the handle. Until you tell her it's a $5 fix or a $180 toilet

I'm looking to buy a RO palm sander and am not sure if Velcro or sticky back is the way to go.
    Guidance would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I do a decent amount of woodworking and always have used velcro. Makes swapping out the paper much easier as you're sanding up in grit.
