Well, I have not seen the doors yet. But they are the doors inside the condo unit. I assume they are the hollow ones.

Best way is band saw probably for clean cut. But depends what's avaliable to you

Looks intriguing. Does it take longer to cook without a closing lid? How do burger turn out?

yeah friend bought an older house really cheap, and its basically all galvanized pipe. But hes going to tear it all out and pex it. We have the bathroom done but theres a spiderweb of galvanized pipe below that needs to come out eventually. Good thing is theres a basement rather than crawlspace!

It’s my new kitchen. I do so much on it all at once. Greasy stuff does well if you have it sloped for grease to run off into trough. And steaks I cook frozen so I get a good sear and rare center.

It was used in the past. Like a long time ago (pre 60's?). Want to say it was a replacement for lead pipes originally

Always has been only now there’s not much lead in it at all so it rusts out faster

Why not abandoned the galvanized pipe in place. That’s what I did. It’s not worth the effort to tear it out.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
How did you kill a Weber in 10 years? Ours is 15 years old, shines like new when cleaned, and the only thing we've replaced was the flavorizer bars. As said though, you can't change the size. I think without spending thousands, your best bet is still a Weber.

It's not really dead yet. The inside paint of the cover is flaking off, the flavorizer bars need to be replaced, the igniter needs to be replaced (again). But most importantly I need a 3 or 4 burner sized grill to keep up with demand.

Say no to propane. Yoder YS640, you’ll never grill the same way again...it will ruin you for bbq hahaha :)

    That is one ugly grill.

Worth it when you use it. I’ve had many other brands. None can compete.

FYI that's not paint chipping. It's food residue chipping.

its a mess to look at. I dunno I suppose they could just leave it but he wants to redo all the stuff in pex stuff so it will look neater. I'll try to take a pic of the pipes before he cuts them out. Looks like the pipe screen saver on most windows computers.

looks neater aside, I love pex, I really like and appreciate the idea of having as few fittings as possible.
