Agree. I just did 2 doors today, but I didn't have the cool laser or black wire dick & balls to help me.

You use the spring clamps versus pinning the mitre ?

I don't mind doing trim to much, somewhat calming actually and it's that whole feeling that you are finally bringing things together. it is the caulking/filling of nail holes and seams that drives me insane...

I try to stay away from interchangeable/all in one products. I've found individual tried and tested tools tend to perform better and last longer. That being said rigid does have lifetime warranty.

 

Finally got around to finishing the chairs for the bar. They were are oak and had an amber varathane. I sanded, sprayed with a satin medium grey then dry brushed a flat black to gith them some character. My first upholstery job... Bought some foam and brown burlap fabric and went at it. I was leaving the craft store (Micheal's) and some random middle aged woman comments "I love a man that shops at Micheal's".

 

I’ve have a 12v Jobmax for over 6 years. It has proved itself time and time again for all sorts of work. I have the jigsaw head and saw all head. Both work great for small quick jobs.

I can’t wait to get this 18v jobmax with a little more power.

 

I had to figure out a way to get our biggest window up and installed in the most awkward spot on the building . Couldn't go up the stairs inside so I rigged up a chain hoist system with scaffolding and one of my aluminum planks . Worked great .

 

No, drilling is boring.

 

I'm happy with my work, not thrilled with how this builder handles details or actually doesnt. Homeowner is happy and other than the one bathroom everything is up to par building wise.

 

Approx 350lbs if I had to guess

 

No access to the front of the house due to trees and septic tanks and septic field

 

No , thats just under 1/2 of the scaffolding I own
