I’ve used those with excellent results. Slow speed drilling. They dull quickly with the excessive heat generated when going fast on tile/porcelain/stone. Also apply light pressure so you don’t crack the tile if it isn’t properly supported (there’s an air pocket in the mastic).

Ended using Milwaukee diamond mini Hole saw. Spray bottle of water in one hand. Drill in the other. Worked good. Only issue is it bore the hole Slightly larger than the true 5/16 inch I was needing. I glued the anchors in to ensure a tight fit. Everything worked out well.

Looks great. Is that the same tile on the shower walls and the floor, or is that wood?

I used Lifeproof Vinyl plank from Home Depot on the floor and a LifeProof porcelain in the shower. Very happy with their products. It’s a basement. The waterproofness of everything is nice.

I finished my cord cutting HDTV and ham dual band antennas...if you are a techy you love this stuff, if you prefer to "have your landscapers blow dry your yard" you might not. :sawzall: (BTW I built the house too just not today).

Anyone used corrugated steel for ceilings, walls, etc? Thinking about going this route for my basement.

I’ve done several commercial buildings with corrugated, also did my fence out of it.

Our local restaurant tore down the old building and put a new one up and they use that for the the backsplash in the booths then painted walls above that. Looks rustic but modern.
