My point was if you get bleach on something and wipe it up right away its not going to be an issue. Leaving it is the issue and why would you leave it?

Laminate will probably be the most likely surface to stain from quick exposure to bleach vs the others.

My laminate in my kitchen stains with everything. I accidentally let tea get under a cutting board and I didn’t see if for a couple of days. It perminately stained the top. :annoyed:

The framing will be drywalled. I’m leaning towards doing the skirt board like you mentioned and drywalling up to it.

Like Oz said..nope. I looked into it very breifly when i saw someone do it for add a media room...course with no mention of cost. neighbor had a foundation guy over for work on his house and i stopped by and it took about 2 minutes to quickly rule it out lol. Would have been cheaper to just sell my house and buy a bigger one than to add on in that way

    Got our drainage work in

6" perforated PVC pipe in pitched low point trench lined with geotech fabric

Washed drain rock over pipe and a drain path layer up the base of wall

Layer of geotech fabric over drain rock and a bit of rock on top for cover

After getting the drain in I power washed the foundation wall , next step is a bit of crack repair , foundation coating and dimpled membrane but that is after New Years , we're shut down till Jan 2nd

Side note , we got creamed with the most powerful windstorm I've ever witnessed here yesterday , saw a water spout on the ocean , trees down everywhere , approx 300,000 people lost power , we're still in the dark at my place

I’m wanting to tear down the yard barn and build a garage for lawnmowers, etc. I’m thinking of building a two story building below the gravel driveway and blocking up to keep the floor of the second level even with the gravel driveway and adding a drive under carport onto the gravel driveway. The building would be where the two stumps are. I’m looking for thoughts and opinions!

Got my wall cabinets hung. Should have the base cabinets leveled and secured tomorrow.

Had fun trying out my new table saw.

Question. Should I wait till the counter tops are installed before painting the cabinets?
