I was thinking, but forgot to say timer based.

The switch is on the outside, so as I walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night it's going to turn on.
That might work, if you can tune the accuracy of the sensor. The closet light has a direct view of the hall to the bathroom and I'd not want it to trigger unless I was in the room. I've only ever used a motion sensor light outside and it basically sucked, maybe the indoor version is better.

Be careful about the TV over the Fireplace. Read up on this - a lot of people complain about getting neck/back aches after doing this. I am guessing the constant looking up causes this?

there was someone in here who lost his mind at people doing that.

Mines above my fireplace and its a 70", we sit far enough away its not a problem. But i'd bet it really depends on how high and how far away seating is.

I would guess whether or not the furniture reclines plays a role as well. My parents had the TV over the fireplace at their last house, and it was never an issue. Just recline back and you could point your field of view at the TV while keeping your head on the headrest.

Correct -- plus the type of seating as the other poster stated.

We do this in commercial construction. Everything is grounded to the rebar via the electrical room and about every 75' we drive down ground rods in the footings prior to pouring them. Basically makes the whole building a ground. Then all the other panels are gounded to a big bus bar which is then connected to the ground wire coming out of the concrete which is usually a heavier gauge copper cable to take the load.

I have one, and she does most of that stuff, though I do push a lot of stuff on her so I try to not do that. Besides she's got college to focus on.

I guess we have a “conditioned” attic now. Under the roof and gables are all spray foamed, only hvac is in house and not in attic fortunately but attic is usually 10-12 degrees hotter than inside house in summer

Plugged away at the never ending patio project. Got about half of that laid yesterday. Probably two more days laying flagstone and then a day of sanding the joints. Going to have a seating wall going around the perimeter, will need to pick up more blocks/caps.

He has his own thread on this. Judging by his responses his mind is already made up. He's only interested in responses that share his point of view. He neglected to tell us the place in question is a slab and not built yet.
One last thing. Dig a basement and put the AC down there. Problem solved. You'll have your tornado shelter as well.
