Pretty much what I was thinking except I would put the door in the middle of the side so the whole space is accessible with out pulling everything out. Not sure how that would work with full sheets of plywood. You may have to offset the door to one side.

Also use smartthings for compatibility reasons mentioned above. It can pretty much be used for anything you want to make smart. The biggest thing missing (for me) is cameras. For that I use WYZE cam and they are fantastic, and only $20, no monthly fee and a cheap $8 sd card allows you to record continuously. Wyze is coming out with door sensors and i was notified that my pre-order shipped yesterday. I also have a few Blink cameras and those were OK at first but the motion alerts are too slow for them to be useful.

Anyone got a bead on some good phillips drivers for a screw gun (cordless drill)? All the ones I've used last one project before the corners shred and then its stripped screw city.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
A little more than regular multi-purpose screws, but worth it. https://www.grkfasteners.com/products/r4-multi-purpose-screw

The larger ones hold up my polebarn overhang.

Sorry, you were asking about tips. No, they all wear out. Impact drivers help some with this problem.

Both are superior to Phillips. I recommend the torx over square, but like Oz, we use both.

I just hate getting to the last 1/4" of screw and it hops out and shreds it. 95% user error I'm sure, but I'm 90% in a hurry to get stuff done most times.

Impact driver will help this as long as they are driven straight. But all phillips tips will wear out, quickly. Buy a bulk pack and change often.

My cheap rigid impact jumps around too much for it to be useful.

Unfortunately might be time for a replacement. I use the drill/driver most of the time due to convenience. But switch to the impact when I have a problem or multiple screws to drive.

The rigid is on full Ugga Dugga mode from the get go. I put a driver into my hand the first time I used it.
