    I remember doing that once.
Didn’t dawn on me the roots can grow out past the landscape border.
I pulled up the land scape timbers when the roots came out.
Easy enough to fix. But if it had been a stone border. That would have been a new job to repair.

Picked up my two 6x6 cedar posts today. Anyone have tips on how to seal and protect them for outside use? We like the natural look of cedar but not opposed to a semi transparent stain. Everything I’ve read is that linseed oil is the way to go?

    No joke.

On a much simpler note... I am repainting the entire interior of my house while quarantined. That's gotta count for something right?

I like Nags Head Hammocks, I gifted one to a son and had several hammock chairs for my home. Not cheap, either in cost of construction/material.

Hey.. Id rather cut stringers than paint walls, especially the entire house. That absolutely counts!

Absolutely. I hate painting so much. My wife is painting two rooms right now as well. I’m not interested. I painted the whole interior of our condo white and I never wanted to paint again.

    I'm painting too!

I despise it but part of me wants to just to get rid of the obnoxious color my son chose a few years ago.

And the only reason I agreed to it was because my shit for brains sister-in-law was staying with us for a week and this helped me not say something I'd regret later.

Cealing drywall is cracked right at the tape. But it’s because it’s pealing off a little. The ceiling has a skip trowel texture on it so I rather not have to mud it and try to get it to match. How would you fix this? I’m thinking of using CA glue.
