:notsure: I must be missing something. If the "homeless" guy had found the keys to your truck, don't you think he would of either a) stole your truck, or b) took items out of your truck. This story is ridiculous and full of stupidity, that I'm calling shenanigans. :anonymous:

Yea, you're missing something. When I wasn't watching the truck, one of the other 5 people I was with was, and local security stationed outside were also watching it. We attempted trickery by sending friends and I inside as a plain clothed security guy walked out and watched, but unfortunately the homeless-looking guy didn't take. I was there visiting with people that worked there, including security.

I didn't do a play by play, this is for comedy relief. Would you like a play-by-play?

So, just how much does it cost to re-key an entire truck?

The guy left before the cops got there, so I gave them all of his information, the vehicle, etc. It was a rather short amount of time this all happened, especially the part where I figured out who had the keys versus when the guy left.

Hmmmm. I'd be more worried that if he had my keys, he could get in my truck, and see where I live off of my registration. I hope you only had you truck key with the fob and not your house/apartment key.

I guess I would of played this card a lot differently; especially since you saw him and apparently had time to watch him, go inside the club, send somebody else out; go back out, wait for the door to get unlocked; put on your gun, watch him drive away.

I love it. Then again coming from McGuire, Cannon AFB would of been enjoyable.

Yeah McGuire is a completely worthless base. It can't do anything that Dover doesn't do already. The base mission is minimal, Ft Dix right next door is all but closed and had been for over 10 years, even with the Joint Basing, there are few folks on the Army side. The base is majority Reserves. No offense to Reservists, but there's a definite difference in attitude and atmosphere on a mostly Active Duty base and Reserve base. When the majority of civilians that live in proximity of the base has no clue ith's there, you could probably close it with no problems. Going to work everyday with no real mission was tough to do for 4.5 years. Trying to justify why you needed to come in to do ancilliary training when you could do the same at home was trying at best
