Homelink comes with TRD OR W/Premium and Tech Package

I took delivery of my 2021 TRD OR 6MT yesterday, which has both the premium and advanced technology packages. Even though it is not documented anywhere on the factory sticker, and it is not stated on the Toyota site if you build a 2021 TRD OR 6MT, I am happy to report that it comes with Homelink. A few other buyers have reported this, but I could not confirm it. My salesman told me it was not an option on the TRD OR and was surprised to see it when I pointed it out. At this point, I do not know if the premium package triggered its inclusion, or the advanced technology package, or both in tandem. Perhaps others can chime in with what they have learned.

 

Having tried to order a specific Tacoma configuration back in June 2020, and ultimately convincing Toyota to build it for me, I've watched the "Build Your Own" section of ToyotaUSA's website evolve as they transitioned to the 2021 model year.
It is confusing at best to be absolutely clear exactly what comes with which package.
Especially when your ordered configuration was for a 2020 TRD OR and then gets translated by Toyota into a 2021.
Thankfully all was worked out and I FINALLY brought my new '21 TRD OR AC home this past Thursday.

Thanks for that info. I've ordered a 2021 TRD OR DCSB manual with advanced and tech package, glad to know homelink comes with it!
