    So I have have reworked my bumper incorporating many suggestions from you guys. I moved it up and reshaped it. Keep in mind I still have to add the skid plate and two recovery points.

    in order to cover up the sides with a straight peice, the bumper has to stick out more in the center to be in front of the grill so the sides can slant back and cover up the gaps under the headlight. Its looking better though...

    Good looking out brother. I just welded a angled piece of metal from the bottom of the bumper which eventually will have a skid plate attached to it. with that angled piece of metal it brings it to spec as far as height. I will post pics after the paint drys and I can install it back on my truck

    I think those revisions really make the bumper look pretty good. To be honest as it's sitting now I don't like it at all. Pretty much what everyone else said... to narrow, the side pieces don't line up well, the gap is too wide, and the bottom needs to be finished out.

    Also one side note in that photoshop pic, the winch mount location above the plate wouldn't work :) You could move the license plate up though and put it below and mount a fairlead there. The fog cutouts would really help the anesthetics a lot.

    Ha ha yeah I guess I didn't really think that part through.

    I am interested to see how the skid plate looks on it.

    Edit: I see I miss read OP's Post. I thought you were going to add a separate skid plate.

    I think if you were to extend the button "Skid Plate" All the way along the bumper that would tie it all in nicely. Just my opinion though.

    Yes thats why I said partial skid. I have to make the rest of the skid and bolt it to whats on there now. If I made it all one piece I would not be able to access the bolts to take off the bumper.

    Good start! I'd just try to incorporate the lines of the truck into it a little more, especially underneath the grille and headlights and aligning it with the fenders. Can't wait to see a finished product!
