I will be towing an open trailer and want to keep an eye on the load, meaning that I will drive with tailgate down, but with also few lose large items in the bed.

I do need some tailgate bars in there to keep my bed load in.

    Anybody build such a thing?
I have a few days to build something... cables, 2x4 crude frame...?
I have some jersey mesh (like on construction sites). I could use some and find some anchor points?

Cable/rope/cord at the top between the bed rails, cable/rope/cord at the bottom between the tie downs, and a piece of heavy netting in between.
