It's harder than it seems man, it's not just get the materials and finish it in a day, takes time and a lot of effort, and skill

 

^ Yes I'm well aware of how much time is involved. I spent several hours on my own just cutting, dremeling, and sanding everything down. A good portion of the afternoon to do it right and prepped to accept the mesh, and that's not even to completely finish it.

Curious about your solution for the hood latch release. Do you have a close-up of that area?

I know where you're coming from. I chose the same route as you. Just be happy that homertaco is bringing up the value of your satoshi . Homers customers are usually not capable of making their own and he brings great craftsmanship to them.



Not a fan of your 2nd gen grills but this 1st gen looks too good.

 

$375+shipping??? I would buy this grill if it was cheaper!

The only thing I'll add is that you'll also need to bend the latch back about 1/2" to clear the depth of the satoshi.

This pricing is completely in line with my other products I offer. The 2nd Gen equivalent TRD logo grill goes for $350 and that is without the triangles.
I have two made-to-order 01-04 Satoshi's in progress now that are color matched that cost $325 - $10 more than the 2nd Gens because they cost more to paint.

 

That is a fair price, considering this is his one of his "higher" type of grilles. He has to make a profit guys, maybe not a huge one, but time & experience talks.

Wish i had the $$$ or else i would have swooped it up in a heart beat, hope it finds a good home.

 

try having an fj... he charge me 3 grand to build me a new grill made of gold yo... and you cant even see it behind my lights

There nice grills. I couldn't imagine how much work goes into these grills, but there still too much money... You could get a nice set of sliders for $375.

 

People pay 400 bucks for head lights also. There is a lot people pay for that's more money and less cooler looking then homers grills plus not everyone wheels on this forum belive it or not!
