HomerTaco refurbished SWB Raptor Grill

This is an 05-11 refurbished grill. I’ve had a few parts sitting around the shop and decided to put this together.
There’s a blemish in the outer surround as seen in the pics as well as a little wave in the inner surround on the bottom. It’s not 100% but still looks pretty darn good.

$400 + shipping is my firm price.

man for a minute I got my hopes up that this was gonna be one of the OG homertaco grills for the 12-15 tacos. I wish I was around back then to pick one up..

Mine might be a little deeper than the current ones it was made 3 yrs ago or so now. But it needs a little pick me up. It's had a rough life to say the least. The color matched surround doesn't even exist anymore on it

I’ve had to do several outer surround replacements over the years. It’s due to the shitty design of the 05-11 grills.
Those plastic mounting points don’t stand up to much abuse unfortunately.

 

I may take you up on that offer. I thought I was screwed and would need a whole new grille

 

Unfortunately you cannot source the outer surround without purchasing an entire grill. That said, I can refurbish grills that I had previously built by pirating a surround from a new grill and installing it on a previously built custom grill.
Ultimately, it is less expensive than getting a new custom grill built.
