    just be careful with the rubber hoses coming off the hard lines, my 1hr brake pad/caliper change turned into a 3 day ordeal when the hoses wouldn't come off the hardlines or the caliper

    Got the broken drivers side axle swapped out, new rear brakes, and new steering rack installed today. Once sentence does not justify the 9am to 5pm job this actually was. The axle & brakes weren't too bad, the rack on the other hand was a true test of patience and strength of will. :oops:
    Many thanks to @TOYTONKA - without him I could not have done this. :thumbsup:
