Still have two weeks vacation left...

 

Dont get my hopes up that you're still coming out this year. I am planning to be back for thanksgiving though so I will see you then for sure!

 

No cross country this year.

 

I can’t remember the last time I filled this thing up. Took 27 gallons in the main tank and filled the swing out can too.
Still had 7 gal in the main but I hadn’t been keeping track.



Total fuel capacity is 39gal including the swing out can. Based on a hwy MPG of 15 my max range should be 585 miles.

so far the furthest non-stop ride was 425 miles.

 

Rear slider finally getting fixed tomorrow like 2 years after it broke.

next I want to get the Flippac back on

 

Did you ever get that fuel neck thing that fixed the spurts on your LRA? I haven't gotten around to following up with LRA yet.

Actually no, I did send an email to them but never followed up with it. I think because fuel ups are so few & far between lately it's not been a priority.
They've committed to making everyone whole on the issue so perhaps I'll follow up with them during the Holidays. Not looking forward to dropping the tank for the fix TBO.

 

True that.. I think it will be easier to raise the bed instead of dropping the tank. Mind you, I'd have to remove my tire-gate but I still think it'd be easier to gain access to the pump/filler neck going over the top.

If you've got an overhead lift taking the bed off is definitely easier.

 

yes.
we did the LRA tank install at @6 gearT444E shop. bed removal was the easiest part of the process.

 

Anyone know the thread title for the T4R brake upgrade mod? can't seem to find it.

I need to start collecting the parts to get that mod done. There's definitely an issue with the drivers side caliper - likely a seized pot.

Once I tackle that I can concentrate on the Flippac

I was literally just reading that a few days ago needing brakes myself. It seemed like a rabbit hole in the moment of needing brakes now. I went one last round of EBC brakes and rotors till I can go threw the runner upgrade with more planning time..
