I called CST and they referred me to a sister company called Roadwire after trying to convince me Pittsburgh is local to anywhere in NJ. Are these the same kits just sold thru different store fronts? I only see one thread on them at a quick glance and it's a 'for sale' thread.

What he said. ^^^ CST = Roadwire --- CST is the install side, Roadwire the retail side.

 

So to me that reads $489 without embroidery or $750-$850 for katskins before heaters.

I'll just keep shopping around.

 

Dude, you have to understand I bought a clearance kit and had a friend who owns an embroidery shop to the lettering.
Not exactly an off-the-rack deal.

 

No, I know, I read the whole thread. I'll have to hold out, that's all. Thanks for clearing up the roadwire thing. They have a published clearance list on their website. I'm just going to have to keep a close eye on it. I'd love the katskinz but I just ordered a bumper from Brute Force.

Excellent write up by the way. Had no interest in leather until you showed how easy (and inexpensive) it could be.

GREAT thread - I have e-mailed CST for a price for my Access Cab.

I've been wanting leather in my truck since I bought it. Was quoted like $1200 back in '07 to have it installed. Needless to say I didn't do it...

I wonder if they offer perforated leather? That's what I would like for my truck.

 

Excellent Post! ... Just purchased a complete leather kit for my 2011 Double Cab for $400.00 shipped off an Ebay seller in Florida.
Turns out the kit is made by "Roadwire".
Looks to be of very nice quality and hopefully an easy/straight forward install.
As others have mentioned, it's a hit/miss task on finding kits that are left-over overstocks but they're around.

Regardless, this post will be of great use when I decide to tackle my install!

I will bookmark both and use them as a step by step guide.
Also plan to install the heated seat kit along with the new covers as it gets a tad cold out here during the New England winters!

Now to find the spare time ..........

Great write up. This was the first mod I looked at doing. Any tips for get the leather tight over the cushions. I don't like to see wrinkles. I'd also like to see others that have installed leather. Did anyone stick with the same interior colors?
