I was perplexed and expecting a shit storm.

Not sure if I'm glad nobody protested that post or if I'm disappointed.

Sorry to hear about your truck man! It could have been worse, you could have been that Taco guy that flew threw the air! I hate to see such a nice rig get F'd like that. Glad you are well though! Maybe insurance will hook you up and you can start another build.

Glad your ok. Being that no airbags deployed, I wouldn't be surprised if they fix it.

Turned out the guy that hit me had no insurance. Car wasn't even registered. He had a 30 day tag taped inside the rear window he was wiping clean and rewriting the month and day every month. Now my insurance will have to pay for it. Adjuster is coming out soon to take a look at all the damages. I also hired a 3rd party private adjuster to give me a second opinion as well. I'll know soon the extent. I doubt they will total it

If the cab touched the bed there's a good chance that it's a goner. We have a local place that sells builder trucks and I'm surprised how many Tacomas get totaled out that look like easy fixes.

Its getting bad, Im almost broke.
I was just talking with my insurance agent about this exact situation. He basically said the insurance company doesnt care at all about the cost of your accesories. You only have leverage when someone else hits you and they have insurance. Good luck with things.
