I mounted mine on vent left of steering wheel with Hondo mount, I used the Ram mount, which I already had. The set up allows easy use of phone touch screen, I installed power via the blank to avoid running the cable from center console.

I just got a Hondo vent mount.. really like it. Only issue is I got the RAM ball and wanted to use it with my iOttie holder. Didnt think to much about metric to english conversions and didnt realize the 1 inch RAM ball is 25mm while iOttie and a few other mounts are looking for a 17mm ball.

Anyone figure out a way to use their Hondo vent mount with a mount that wants a 17mm ball? I same some plates on Amazon with 17mm balls that said the screws were AMP spaced but they are 4 screw plates. I really just want something like the RAM ball add-on with a 17mm ball. Anyone know if something like that exists.

I saw that.. thanks... For this I would need an arm to join the two 25mm balls and then the adapter. I'm using the vent that it's right next to the steering wheel so I was hoping to keep it as streamlined as possible.

I was hoping I can either mount to a 17 mm ball rightr to the Hondo.. or something that was 25 mm female to 17 mm male so I didn't have to add the arm

The A size is about 14mm, not sure if that would work for you.

Use this with TacoGarage's Mount. That's how I have mine setup.
