A lil this a lil that.
I'm assuming this is the frame that I am getting powder coated. The color that was sent to me is called "Astatic Red" it is brighter than Barcelona in my opinion. I was hoping to get the red as close to my red Pro accent pieces as possible. I don't think color matching is an option for powder coating..

My tape measure said 96” at expo. Edit: this was exterior to each end of the extrusion. That why I went with a 2.5 meter ARB awning (97 inches)

I don’t think so. I wrote down the measurement but I can’t remember if it was just the extrusion.

I think its safe to say you could post a video of grass growing with a gfc idle in the background and we would still want to watch it.

@Asphaltcowboychip I was thinking about doing the same thing. Did you have to pay extra for the red?

Kind of hard to tell, since they are not the best images, but black and orange looks great! @YOTA 4X4 0D979A5F-DA49-4EEE-B334-F719E0D1DFFE.jpg8DA2FD80-0A6D-4DBB-8996-5E947497801D.jpg

It's a little more subtle with panels all closed.

Man that really does look great Evan. Is that one yours? The wife actually told me yesterday that “of course you should get orange tubes, you love orange” lol so I guess orange tubing is in my future!!!

I know it’s a Sunday morning so I don’t necessarily expect any answers right away on this but does anyone know the color option(s) if any for the fitted sheets that @hatchadventures was showing? Obviously Red Plaid is an option, also the cost of those? Thanks.

Oh anyone make any more headway with fans? I was set on the fan option, but the fact that it only runs in the sun does me almost no good. When I park my truck for the evening generally it’s later and it’s almost always shaded by big east coast Forests. Curious if anyone is going to run something more along the lines of a Fantastic Fan or MaxxAir

I got the fan and then discovered the "running in the sun only" thing. It does get rid of condensation if you pack up wet and then drive on a sunny day. However, that does this fat boy little good when I'm sweating at night so I went a different route.

I have numerous Dewalt 20V tools so I bought their 20V Fan. The specs say it will run for 7 hours on one charge. That must be on high because I've successfully gotten two nights with it on about half speed. We sit it in the center of the rear window and swap directions depending upon the prevailing winds outside. When blowing out, it does a good job of drawing air in thru the side windows and provides a nice air flow. If its blowing in, it provides enough movement that you will turn it off in the wee hours when temps finally cool off.

I carry the charger along and plug it into the Tacoma 110v outlet in the bed and it typically recharges the battery in 60-90 minutes of driving. I wish it were a bit smaller and lighter but so far, I'm cool at night!

So far its been hot and dry so the door was fully open. A partial opening might give more suction as I think about it.

The windows are nice. They seemed small in the pictures but you still get a good view out the back.
