Bummer dude. I know you were stoked. Nobody likes delays, especially on products we wait a long time for.
Please post some pix when you do take delivery. Hopefully you get it soon!

Where are these ones that won’t close at all? Second time I’ve seen someone say this and if it’s not true then that’s way worse than saying most of the drifters are in SoCal when most were in NorCal.

Some seem to be a little harder to close than others but I haven’t seen anyone say theirs won’t close at all. They could’ve made it 2 inches taller like the Drifter and they would’ve closed really easy but I’d rather keep it sleek and take 20 seconds longer to close it.

Thanks. I'll definitely post some pics. I'll try to get some photos of the installation process. Yes I bummed.

You didn’t read that as a a joke? When new they are difficult to close. If you close them slowly they’re easy... fact.

Maybe you didn’t read the whole post

No. I hope I don't get ostracized, but it's going on a 2018 F150 extended cab. I'm here because this is where the GFC discussion is.
I'm hoping that the bed is more square and flat than the Tacoma's so as to help with installation fitment. Maybe part of the closing and leaking issues are due bed rails that aren't very square with each other.

Nothing wrong with that. I'm not a Toyota fan boy so no worries there. Other than my old beater Ranger Rover this Tacoma is the first vehicle I've owned that isn't a VW.

As a mod, shouldn't you know better and take your personal tiff into PMs?

Funny enough I was getting PM’s during that entire debacle from other members. About someone being a bit of a douche.

I’d say it’s put to bed now though. No hard feelings from me. This is the freaking internet. Everyone’s a tough guy (or gal) especially on TW. That’s why I love it.

Somewhat similar. The gasket between the space frame and fixed tent panel was misaligned and Ross also noticed that one of the front corners of my camper (above the truck cab) might have not been properly caulked.

He went ahead and re sealed everything and got it back in line. I'll let everybody knows how it goes after the next big rain.

What was your build number? I was right around 45.

Please look up the terms “shitposting” and “trolling” before reporting a moderator of this. Jason pointed out what was stated.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Hilux is what you seek. Almost bought one not long ago. But couldn’t find my box of retro clothes to go with it ;)
