It is what it is. It's winter, so no rush to camp in Michigan this time really. Just really annoying when people are skipped to finish their builds jumping others that have paid in full to promote the business further when the struggle is clearly very current. I'm at the point where I've been told next month for 7 months and I'll believe it when it's at my doorstep. Ross was very accommodating when I met with him, but the whole email back and forth waiting days for a response is tiring. If I were to do it again not sure I'd take the leap that I did last March, but when it's in my hands maybe it'll be all worth it. It did look spectacular in person!

Yes all very good points and I can see where you are coming from. I would be frustrated too, that kind of wait for something that's paid in full and already should have been delivered is a bit much. I would have thought by now, since they have over 500 orders in the queue, the processes would have been more streamlined. I am suppose to pickup mine sometime in February or March but from everything I have read and what you're saying it sounds like it will be impossible to lock down a day it will be ready so I can request time off work to make the drive.
Hoping you get yours ASAP though! It truly is an awesome product though and waiting is not that bad haha

Does anyone on this thread live close to Seattle that already has their GFC? I'm trying to sell my wife on one and get rid of our Tepui but she wants to see one in person before we pull the trigger on one.

Hmm, rigging must be completely different in the US then here in Canada. Anyways, it works, just odd it’s rigged on an angle.

Maybe to ensure the front overhang clears easily when aligning the rear corners, then lowering the rest down by pivoting on the rear contact points. My guess only, we just manhandled mine on without a fancy hoist.

This is literally the only complaint I’ve had with GFC. If it’s going to be 7 mos, tell me. I’m a big boy. I can’t stand having expectations set and no follow through. Hell, tell me it’s 8 mos and deliver in 7. Just quit getting my hopes up.

Not sure why it’s rigged on an angle. Wasn’t there, haven’t picked mine up yet, don’t know who did it, etc...

It as someone who rigs stuff for work, it’s not always about rigging it to hang perfectly level, but rigging it to hang level enough that someone can easily hold it level. Also we sometimes rig stuff out of level on purpose if we want one end to touch down first. (Think setting utility poles).

Again, not defending anyone or arguing with you, just adding my perspective.

I think its at angle in order establish a point of landing on the rails. Set that point and the then lower the cable to bring it down on front then slide it forward. This keeps it away from the cab and a possible mishap. Also its very difficult to lower it perfectly and align all points perfectly all at the same time. If you're off by just a little bit trying to lower it approximately level, it might contact the cab roof.

So what you’re telling me that my #234 (set to start building April 22nd and it takes 3-4 weeks to complete) probably won’t be ready for me by June 1st?

Lol. Good luck. Mine was set to start build July 22nd. It finished build November 5th. 3-4 weeks doesn’t mean much. Maybe things will be better by then....but delays and more tariffs are not unheard of.

That's exactly what it looked like he was doing. Don't think it was his first rodeo.

    Dude. You’re scaring me. Lol
My GF has to schedule her vacations at the beginning of the year. She’s going to be pissed if we can’t pick up the camper on our June trip since i sold the RTT yesterday!

I think they will Improve their production. If 234 isn’t ready by June then the December estimates for the people in the 450 range aren’t going to be even close.

I ordered right after the estimates changed from May to July and I’m 344. I’m just hoping I have it by August or September. They were building them pretty quick before Christmas so hopefully it picks back up.

Just don’t make plans based on the camper coming. You’ll set yourself up for disappointment. The timelines are rough guesstimates at best. There’s a few people that ordered before I did still waiting on build/delivery. And not to mention getting bumped for social media builds.
