GFC is killing it! While I'm already on the list waiting I wonder if there is money to be made by just putting down a deposit here and there and then selling the spot for more to people that don't want to wait so long. Seems like everyone that has tried to sell their spot has been able to get what they paid.

My personal opinion would be no? There is no money to be made by selling the spot(s) bought for $500 for $500. It seems uncool (to me) to buy spots for $500 and advertise / sell them for more. Finally, it seems incredibly risky to buy spots for $500 speculatively hoping that more $2k offers come along. That money might be better invested otherwise?

Beyond that, doing something like this might cause GFC to rethink this method and impose something much less favorable?

    Just my $0.001.

I hope you plan on driving to pick it up. Texas is about as far as I am. Mine has been "complete" since November . Every email return I get says "will let you know when I have an update". L....O....L....

Well i was originally planning on white glover but more recently been looking up the route to Bozeman :)

Maybe they are waiting for more South deliveries before heading south 24 hours? Anyone else in or near texas and near or complete already?

That would be my guess. As someone who is on the other side of the country, I’m not waiting for them to have enough for a delivery. The day mine says complete and I get an email, I’m putting in my vacation time.

Agreed. GFC is a business and if they realize people are capitalizing on product demand it wouldn't be much of a change for them to offer an expedited option for those with heavier wallets.

Which is potentially more profitable for them than bumping social media builds. Even the outrage it would cause could be considered "good" press.

So let's not eff this up. They will scale and we'll all get our campers and life will be grand.

I would recommend driving LOL. I'm waiting longer cause mine was delivered once with wrong paint. Why am I waiting? I'm not driving 5000 miles round trip on my gas when I pre-ordered and have free white glove delivery. I offered to drive if they paid for gas, was told no. I'd also rather not camp/drive in snow for 5000 miles. I was going to drive out labor day weekend, but delays made that impossible and now that it's winter....no thank you.

I agree that some people would pay more to not have to wait one year. I'm glad that GFC doesn't offer this as I am not willing to pay more and really don't want to wait any longer. I just find it fascinating how there is such a huge demand for this product.

Mine has been 'complete' for about a month now. Still waiting for White Glove delivery. I'm in the Denver area and was told that they were doing a PNW run (which I think has been done) and then a run that would be heading south towards me. Not sure if they will go down to Texas too at that time? This part of the waiting is difficult. I've been fine up until now, but knowing that it is just sitting there is frustrating. I paid in full back in May. I feel bad, these people that are #4xx or 5xx are going to be waiting a long time! Based on their production rate so far there is no way orders placed now are going to be done in about a year.

At least it's winter, otherwise I'd be too impatient and drive up there and get it.

Call them and make our case! I've emailed too many times to ask for updates and probably worn out my welcome.

Idk if they have more than one truck delivering...but I actually got a call back today for the first time since I paid in March of 2018. They said they were going to Vegas and Arizona?....Maybe Denver?....Idk the last stop, but definitely Vegas first and then looping up to Montana and finally out my way to Michigan by Super Bowl Weekend. So I guess my time on this thread is short lived :amen:
