Holy shit that tax...why wouldn’t they put it all in the price?? Reasons Montana is a way better state to manufacture in. At that point I’d be going full size 2500/3500.

They sure do and it's only going to get worse. If the people that run my state take power in 2020 we will probably see the price of these campers going up up up. Better get it while it's cheap.

Have family and friends in Cali, but I don't see what everyone sees. I see natural disaster after another and poverty stricken cities; San Fran has to be the worst right now. I'd rather be in Montana next to Yellowstone, Banff, Glacier, etc. GFC workers have the life .

The amount of rats, and homeless people living in tents right on the sidewalks in downtown LA. The rats are scurrying among all these tents and have no fear of humans. The main police station right in the middle of it all in their walled compound.

California (away from the cities) is a really nice state, it’s just ruined by a terrible government. Pretty much the whole west coast is that way now. Three of my favorite states with some of the best variety of terrain. Surf, snowboard and offroad in the desert all in one day if you want.

No worries man, you definitely couldn't pay me to move to Cali. And I know the surfing was a joke but actually a few surfers have been out in Montana surfing streams this year though they aren't getting any A frames

I'll shit pretty much anywhere, but if there is one place I won't shit, it would be in the bed of my truck. I really don't see the appeal, then you gotta do something with the bucket of shit. Most of the people with Motorhomes and fifth wheels that I know don't even poo in there bathrooms.

Dig a hole, enjoy the breeze. If my girlfriend can do it anyone can.

Some sort of shower is a huge benefit if your romping around desert for days.

I've tried those toilet seats on top of a 5 gallon bucket and they seem unstable and an accident ready to happen. I plan to carry a regular porta potty to use when there's no alternative. If I'm going to stay in one spot for awhile, I'll set up one of those instant shower tents and keep the potty there and empty it at the next facility or if far away from others just dig a hole for the poo. The bucket setup takes almost as much storage space as a cassette potty. I'll probably go cheap with the cassette toilet and get one of those $45 ebay knockoffs.

Asking out of genuine curiosity, in what scenario would there be no alternative?
