I’ve got all that except the nuts for the extrusion rails. Figured I could just grab them there.

Yea, going down the switch backs at Mineral Bottom was very sketchy. 500 foot drop and slippery clay mud. Still worth the trip and luckily no one was in my back-up secret camp spot.

We did the whole trail last June in my old truck counter clockwise. Camped one night at Potato Bottom Camp “C” I believe.
We nicknamed it Mosquito Bottom for obvious reasons. Hardest section to me was going up Hardscrabble. Made me a little nervous. I’m not a crazy big off-roader so that was crazy enough for me.

Awesome. I'm hoping to do the White rim trail on the dirtbike and in the tacoma this year. So far I've only done parts of it.

I was recently in the shop to pick my camper up. They showed me the new fabric, and they said they are still testing it. I suspect it will be a little while before they are ready to release it. You can always purchase the lighter fabric later.

Whats the purpose of the lighter fabric?

My guess would be that it makes closing the tent easier and if the lighter material doesn't take up as much room, you could store bedding up there.

Doubt it. A thinner, lighter fabric that can stand up to the elements the same as the thicker fabric they’re using is worth more. Think titanium vs aluminum.

It was on their instagram, they drilled a hole through the extrusion. It came out pretty clean. They drilled the hole just small enough for the wire to fit, then they caulked it to seal it. The hole is right behind the s2. They mounted the light on the middle channel which wasn't the greatest, the back door hits the light when its up. I mounted mine on the upper channel of the lower extrusion which will give enough clearance.

    Edit, added more

Can you share some pictures of your bed system? I’ve been trying to decide what I want to do for storage. Looks like a nice design and doesn’t put the fridge up so high that it needs a drop down slide.

I haven’t picked mine up yet, but I did order it with the side door. I expect to use it with a ladder like a rtt more than climbing up through the bed. And the pictures I’ve seen from inside with the 2 doors give a panoramic view.

I ordered mine with a side door for the same reasons. When it’s just me, I’ll probably leave two of the panels stored and sleep in “bunk mode”. When the wife is with me we’ll probably bring a ladder and treat it like our RTT.

2 away from production! A couple months and I’ll be able to report on how I like the side door.

Ditto on all of this other than the fact that I just entered production last week. At the time I ordered, I didn't know of potential issues with closing the tent with the side door - not sure if that is a real issue or not.

I used the chat function with Graeme the other day and asked him about the 2" mattress. Here is his reply "We are continuing the use of the 3" mattress in the camper at this time, not sure of any plans to switch at the moment. "

Originally I really wanted to drive out and pick it up, but I'm so slammed at work right now I don't think I can justify the trip from Tennessee all the way out there. I'll probably just have it shipped to me.

If I wasn’t planning on not coming home for two weeks I would offer to just trailer it back home to Ohio for ya.
I’m planning on going out around the first part of June. #234

    ?

I have some experience in footwear design. Lighter, better fabric equals $$$. Takes R+D, potentially more involved manufacturing processes, more expensive threads. If it’s just a lighter weight of the original fabric used, expect it to wear more easily in the same conditions.

Just like ultra light back packing tents are more expensive than most tents made with heavier materials.
