I actually was happy to put down 50% deposit for my Drifter last month. Many small custom fabrication shops you will have to pay 100% up front. Look at sliders and a bumpers. For this you have to pay 100% up front and wait 4-5 months to receive your goods.

I feel like putting down a bigger deposit separates the 'tire kickers' from the more serious people that want the product.

Graeme has also hit me up to take back my GFC for updates/upgrades also, but since its prime camping season, I decided to hold off and maybe have them pick it up later in the season. Love the GFC dudes.

So I’m about 20 campers away from being complete, and am planning on driving out to pick it up the first week of June. I’ve started ordering stuff for it.. so far I have the levels, cargo net, and d rings.

I want to use the baja designs dome lights under the side and rear panels for some soft area lighting. Has anyone else wired lights up on the panels (so when they’re open they shine on the ground and the tailgate? I know I’ve seen a couple people use stick on battery powered puck lights, but I want to hardwire mine.

They use 22 gauge wire, so I expect that it’s small enough that it should fit between the space frame and panel just fine. Mount the light where it won’t contact the frame obviously.

    Any thoughts?

Is that when you expect it to be done? Seems like based on current production you should only be a few weeks out if you are only 20 away from being done.

When your buddy makes ignorant posts comparing Pelfreybilt to a thriving and honest compny like Vagabond Outdoors, what do you expect?
Not that i would expect anything less from someone who has a Ford.

And a 50% or greater is standard for custom built, one off products not a cookie cutter generic product with no options available

And here’s the link. Have a blast

    Check out the build
    Hi everyone,

If you don't know me I'm Iggy (with VO), and I've seen the growing contention on TW with camper owners. We at VO don't want any bad blood, no TuPac and Biggy rivalries here, so I wanted to offer up a thread for everyone to share their experiences using their camper, regardless of what it is. We are all here because we are Tacoma enthusiast first and foremost, and our campers make us all more similar than we are different.

I created the wedge life thread here, please join in if you feel like you can contribute to the growing trend that is the wedge life. My hope is we can all discuss tips/tricks, challenges we overcome, and share our build outs. I really enjoy seeing the solutions people come up with to solve their problems. I really hope to see you there!

To GFC, if I am overstepping, please let me know and I will delete this post, but I hope this can help us all move forward without animosity.

What number are you? I'm # 259 and am estimated to be early June.
