I just wipe mine down with a micro fiber cloth in the AM if it’s wet. It’s not like that all the time but I imagine when it’s that cold you had most of the windows closed up and that of course makes it much worse. Quick wipe down seems to negate the problem pretty easily

I have the original tent fabric. The new tent fabric started shortly after my build, I believe (#200).

Makes sense - I agree that the solution is more ventilation; However, I know that my CVT had a condensation mat which helped even when all the windows were closed. Then again, they designed it with built-in cross ventilation air vents.

I did have the original canvas and I observed more condensation than I would've liked but never tested it under extreme conditions. I now have the new fabric and it did quite well in a night of heavy rain, wind and 35F to 40F. Very little condensation on the fabric. The honeycomb top had more condensation than what was on the fabric. Overall I was happy with the performance of the tent in these conditions. No leaks. I would say that the new canvas is easier to stow, breaths better, looks better but a little more delicate than the old canvas.

The morning after. Craters of the Moon, ID.

Finally got time to upload some of my highlight photos from my GFC install this week. (As promised)
We traveled out from Ohio to Bozeman and had our camper installed Monday a few hours before @JLink. We ended up planning out a meet up ahead of time and stayed near by Bozeman that night in our new campers. We had some beers over a campfire in the rain while the dogs played rough.
We parted ways the next morning and we headed south for nicer weather and to meet some family in Colorado.
We camped near Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons and Rocky Mountain National Park.
So far we’re loving the camper. We sleep better than we did with our roof top tent and the setup/take down alone is worth it to me. We really like that we can hang things inside to make room on the floor/truck bed.
    (4,145 miles total trip)

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this thread that help others like myself with mods, questions and the sharing of photos of their campers for those waiting who like to see them and get great mod ideas.

(If you notice a weird V like shape in the top right corner of most of my photos, that’s dog hair, don’t care. :))

This is where I'm at right now....

    8/29 - Deposit In

    12/13 - Welcome Kit

    01/02 - Final Invoice

    4/15 - Now In Production

    4/19 - Out For Powder-coating

    6/4 - Assembly Cart

    6/5 - Sealant Curing

Guessing it will get updated this week as finished! And that's with Overland Expo in May... Timing will work out perfectly. I'm getting very excited to get a lot of camping in over the summer with the new set up.

Who's white 3rd gen with a white GFC did I just see headed into San Diego over the Coronado Bridge? I've got some questions I'd like to ask before mine hits "In Production Notified". I'll trade beer for info.

Just saying, I'd hate to see you unhappy with your purchase when you have to drive a thousand miles with an unoptimized suspension setup.
