Stoked to receive my welcome kit w/ color samples. I noticed that the white doesn't really match the Super White of the Tacomas. GFC informed me that some of their customers have chosen Prismatic Powder's Snowcone White. This may be a long shot, but I was curious to know if anyone has seen pictures of a Snowcone white GFC camper on a Super white Tacoma.

Just noticed the new design for the Awning mounts....was this to accommodate a more wide variety of awnings or was the first design problematic / subpar? I ordered the older ones and have been awaiting my build to wrap up. #261 in curing!

I don’t have any problems with the original design, picked them up over a year ago and had an awning mounted since. The new design looks like it has a larger mounting area that might work with the bigger 270° type awnings that use a larger mounting track.

Thanks. Is the width of the underside of the camper bed the same as the truck bed?

Last update was last Thursday as I went from in production to components produced. They only usually update once a week AFAIK? There’s about 80 at components produced however, not sure if there’re really going to get mine done in 5 weeks, even though the most recently completed ones were done in 8 weeks.

Based upon previous est. completion dates, mine should be done by late August. That means 110 units to be completed by then, not sure about that now......

I’m 344 and hoping mine is done before Labor Day. There aren’t many in assembly right now so hopefully they start getting through all of the ones that are in components produced now.

There’s been a lot more changes on the leaderboard than those four completions indicate. Not sure what it means, but 257-278 have all changed from sealant curing to soft foods installation. Now there’s only one curing. Perhaps a big bump for the curing stage soon? Or just a name change?

Yeah, it seems like they have a bunch that are in the final stages and a bunch that have components produced. I’m expecting to see a big jump in completed campers and a lot more in assembly in the next week or two.

I went into "In production notified" on June 13th. According to their estimated time line my camper would be complete by August 8th. I don't see how this is possible. In order to meet that time line of 8 weeks They would have Have a average completion of over 16 campers per week for the next 6 weeks. Whatever, when it's done it will be done

Hey guys! Camper #413 here. We're getting close! I see that the leader board has been all over the place and what not but I'm still stoked regardless. Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hi now that my camper is marked ready for production.

Welcome! Nice truck. However long your wait is, it will be worth it.

For anyone still waiting, my take on it after being at the shop and meeting the guys, is they’re doing the best they can, as quickly as they can, as reliably as they can, while also trying to improve the products and spread awareness and gain customers. It’s an extremely small company where most people wear a few different hats. There’s no big shots sitting around, Wiley was in as many places as possible while I was there. I swear I thought he had a clone because I saw him so many times on my tour of the shop.

I waited 9 months for my camper. If I waited for shipping who knows how long it would be. But I love it.

    Thanks!

And yeah that's my feeling on it. I'm actually impressed with their turnaround rate and communication overall. I'd rather wait the time and believe in the product, that's why I went for GFC.

In the meantime I'm gonna sketch plan after plan for an interior build out, lol.

258 complete now. There are still a ton in components produced status so I bet a lot of those start going into assembly soon.

Well, so much for averages. Went to soft goods yesterday and my camper is completed today. Yikes, caught off guard; time to start planning a road trip.

So how long did it take you from In Production Notified to Complete?

You weren’t asking me specifically , but mine went into production on 4.15.19 and was marked completed this morning, 6.27.19. Ten and a half weeks.

My camper went to in production on April 19, so I think that's almost exactly 10 weeks to completion.

So it kind of seems like the 6 to 8 week time line given to us doesn't happen that often especially 6 weeks. Thanks.
