Yeah a suspension upgrade is the first thing I'm doing when I get back to my truck, now that I'm in production I already know I'll need heavyweight springs, especially since stock springs look near flat with my usual daily carry, sometimes inversed.

Better suspension is a must. I have it and the truck drives, handles and stops fine it's just about 300lbs heavier than I thought it would be.

I know it's a long shot, but is anybody out there looking to sell their spot in line? Please DM me if you are. Thanks!

I appreciate the heads up, however I'm in the market for a full size GFC at this point

Does it matter if he's just selling the reservation? I would think that they could change the build type when his spot in line come around.

He already has his GFC, so not a reservation.

I ran mine through the truck scale in Inuvik with a pretty light camping load about( four days worth of stuff for me and my dog) and no extras like fishing gear, etc. It's about time to look for a new truck that has the payload capacity to actually carry some stuff.

Seems pretty light to me :) Kinda like the 20% improvement I got on my fuel economy readout when I switched to Imperial gallons.

I assume the upper dimensions are the same for all the mid-size trucks. The height of the frame is 22-1/2", the base width is 60", the base length is 62".

Yeah, I know ... that’s why I put in the comment about converting to Imperial gallons on the display to improve my mpg readings. We’re still in the 18th century when it comes to measurement systems here in the US, though I don’t quite get Imperial gallons in his day and age. Are they still in general use in Commonwealth countries? I’m pretty sure the last time I was in Canada gas was sold by the litre.

Canada is Litres, so is most/all commonwealth countries.

The only place I know of that still uses imperial gallons is the UK for fuel economy, even though fuel itself is sold in Litres.

Imperial pints on the other hand... every pub and supermarket in the UK - beer and milk.

Left and right corners of the rear hinge. This is getting old, there’s gotta be a material change here soon.

I was told the “old seal” was putting “unnecessary force” on the hinge, whatever tf that means...

I still see a material/engineering issue that won’t get resolved by replacing the hinge with the same continuous plastic. The hinge I’ve already replaced is showing the same wear, as well as the passenger side

Ha, I was the first. I can’t tell you how frustrated I was when I was told they had “never seen a side panel do that out of 250 campers”. And now it’s my rear panel soon!
