Nice work! I will be looking to do this once I get mine (#478) as I regularly haul 20’ pieces of steel. Any idea of what the price will be on the Beef racks?

I was thinking tie down hooks bolted directly to the upper extrusion (somehow):

Do you need to beef up rear suspension with one of these campers or is stock TRD OR fine if not overloaded?

How did you get your hands on those? Seems like they have not come out yet and are not for sale on the site. Are they testers? And feedback on them in particular? Im looking to get a set when they come out. Cheers

After a week with it on the road around town, it rides good but its not loaded with gear & haven't gone offroad with it yet, I'll give a report after June 2nd. If your doin a lot of offroading I'm thinking you'll want to look for some suspension upgrades.

I'm pretty close as well, I have a sensor in the bed collecting temp data as we speak. So far it seems to be between 20-30F higher than ambient temps when there is sun. Still haven't hit the high temps yet, but once I see it getting triple digits in there I'll punch the hole.

Wow! That is a lot higher than I expected. Ya, we are already in the 90's here in the south so I expect it's going to be crazy warm in the tent when the sun is out.

Who gets in a tent when the sun is out?
I usually stumble into mine slightly shwasted a few hours before the sun comes out.
Oh wait, no I don’t. Mines still in sealant curing for 9 days and counting.

What color panels are you using? And are you capturing temp data with everything closed up? I.e. tent down

Do you have a completely sideways view of that gap? From a greater distance as well. Trying to figure out if it will look silly or acceptable.

My combo is GFC + DCLB.

Better bet for you would be a cabrack and cut it to fit. Check out @riz_atx setup

All data collected is with GFC closed up, if I had it open and it was hot I'd just open the windows. Looking at cooling it down when closed to keep stuff cooler inside (surfboards, float tube, cooler, etc)

I have black side panels, which will change the data a little compared to other colors. My buddy down the street has white panels so I'll pull from his as well when it gets warmer.
