Would be cool if the vinyl logo wrap was available in all the OEM colors as I think the gray/gray looks good there

Wasn’t sure if it was a video that was going to be edited and posted onto the website down the line or if it was something that would be more raw and posted onto social media, but either way, hopefully soon :)

Yeah, not sure what's up with the shit stirring about the way the panels seal - it's not new. The pictures with the orange frame made it easy to see that the panels seal against a gasket on the space frame. It was also discussed as part of the design goal to have it be serviceable/replaceable. Having had a fiberglass and aluminum shell and dealt with the butyl based sealants and edge molding used for windows/door/seams on those I am happy about the different design of the GFC.

I expect that you're going to track more dirt into the camper on your person or through the tailgate/bed compartment holes than what comes through the panel gaskets.

Also echoing the "I want it now daddy!!!!" sentiments on this alleged video. I am approaching stalker level in terms of check every possible source of GFC media throughout the day.

Your Tacoma has big gaps around the outsides of the doors. All that matters is the fit between the bulb seal and its mating surface. In fact if the panels touched, there’d be wear, damage and possibly even interference that would prevent a good seal where it matters.

This talk about dust reminded me of another reason I am pulling for the rear window pass through to become a reality.

Years back I was reading a build thread on Expo where they had a boot between their camper shell and the rear window. They commented that they noticed significantly less dust intrusion when using the HVAC fan to keep the shell slightly pressurized with air from the cabin.

I never was sure if I fully believed their claim but the idea made sense to me and it would be fun to try.

For those of us that missed the pre-order, any idea what shipping will cost to the east coast? I'm in NC. I've got access to a commercial address with a loading dock, if that matters.
