Good question. The discount for picking a pre-order up in person was $250, so that could be in the ball-park of what shipping might run.

Yeah, I saw that earlier today while poking around the website. I hate missing the perks of a pre-sale, but it's still well priced. And who knows, pops has been talking about a cross country trip, and neither of us is getting any younger, so maybe I'll pick it up.

Yep! That is what we're working to clear. Mostly not from fun stuff, but raising a couple expensive Girls.

I guess it’s still “today” I’m Bozeman... it’s already tomorrow here on the East Coast. I’m not going to be able sleep until I see this video!!!!

Love it! Can't wait for Jim Bob to take a bunch of pictures of the thing.

I like the subtle branding on the tent itself.

What's the word on the lighting in the tent? Is that an optional upgrade or something that's standard?

If things would settle down and no major household emergencies, I might be able to pay $$ for the GFC on my 3rd Gen. Long ass story, but we got sucked down a rabbit hole with both Girls being very serious about figure skating while under constant protest from me for the constant increase in coaching and equipment costs. They thankfully ditched it a few years back for a few very valid reasons, but the balances took a very long time to clear. I didn't realized that my wonderful SO was only paying min payments to keep things afloat. I noticed just before we hit a hard wall, but the correction has been taking time.

The footage was shot yesterday but the editing is still in process. Hope to have it ready by Monday. It's fairly comprehensive so you'll be able to get a real good look at the thing. Not just a quick instagram snippet.

Wiley - is the led lighting pictured going to be an option for subsequent builds? Any info on the price?

For Winter traveling it would be fairly easy to fit 1" closed cell foam panels, adhered with velcro to the aluminum, in the triangular spaces in the space frame. Cosmetically it might not look great so the insulation could be covered by the fabric of your choice applied with spray adhesive. The added insulation would be substantial and it would also decrease condensation.
Of course, the insulation will also insulate from heat. In cold weather it would keep the heat in.

Pretty certain they talked about this in this already. Believe its standard. They were experimenting with different lights for a while.
