I notice that the sides and back panel open north of horizontal. Is this adjustable so as not to interfere with a canopy attached to the track?

You could change the struts out for shorter ones to limit the opening.

Also, a loop of nylon string around the ends of the gas springs can be used as a limit strap.

I spy a pull down strap near the top of the tent. It's all in the details, and more and more thoughtful ones keep popping up...

Limit strap would totally work, but you could also open them into the awning as the side panels don't push very hard. Having them open past 90 is nice for accessing stuff from the side without hitting your head on a stock height truck.

We sure that window isn't tinted? All the pics are with stuff open, and open air behind the window.

That's a biggie. Easy enough to tint a small, rectangular window like that, but it'd be nice not to have to.

Just wondering about "Carbon-Fiber battens that work with the rigid roof to keep the fabric walls from flapping too much in the wind." (from GFC website) - Have we seen anything on this? Concept sounds great. @gmacmt

And regarding colors - we've now seen the white and gray on a production unit, just waiting to see black. I'm assuming the logo/graphics will be added to the gray/windows version we've recently seen - no?

C'mon guys. Plenty of places on the internet for T&A. TW isn't one of them.

Can you set up the big rear flap like an overhang? The way most RTT's do?

I was thinking that the side panel might chafe the awning when its windy.

Seems this forum is only way to communicate with GFC. Left voice message on their phone last week (7 days ago) - no reply yet. Sent email early this week - no reply. I realize they are way busy and all, but you gotta find some way to respond to questions about your product from serious customers. Makes one wonder if you had a problem with a camper you purchased from them if they ever would get back to you.

Only had a few simple questions:
    • How do you pay for the camper - do you take credit cards (I assume payment in full upon order)?
    • Rough idea if you order now, when you might expect your camper to be ready?
    • I live 4 hours away, any idea of how long install would take?

I spoke with them two weeks ago and was told an order right now would put me at about mid/late August delivery.

Sorry to hear you had these issues. Ive emailed with Graeme and talked with them on the forum, both being equally responsive.

I got in line last week and early september was as hard as a date as they could give due to current demand and how far out the date is. Ill be doing a road trip out there to pick mine up.

CC or call/mail transfer/check. Paying with a CC is subject to a fee, just fyi. I chose to mail a check. The website shares much of this info .

Hi Pygmy, this is Graeme. I think we spoke on the phone this morning, and my apologies in not getting back to you sooner. We are growing quickly, and we have been inundated (100+ messages/day) with request volumes. We should have gotten back to you sooner, and we are actively taking measures to improve our customer support network. We just brought someone on to aid in customer service yesterday, and we always do appreciate feedback as it helps us take corrective actions to better serve you guys.

Thanks to everyone for their patience as we deal with the growing pains of a new company, and we are beyond stoked to get you guys out camping.

Just got an email from the GFC team, and they said they are running about 6-8 weeks behind their originally forecasted schedule.
