Kind of off-topic but how do you like that Skid Row Offroad IFS skidplate? I have their t-case skid (came with my truck when I bought it) and it actually saved my ass big time on a difficult trail once. Although I did have to remove it and press it straight again afterward, granted I bottomed out on a rock pretty hard.

Anyway, curious to see what you think of it as I'm considering going with their full IFS skid here in the near future

I installed all three skid row plates and with the TG sliders, they have kept me safe. I too have center lined and been on my sliders lol. It is the greasy muddy trails of northwest colorado that cause me problems.

What kind of front suspension do you have? Wondering how the weight affects it. Looks like it works well with your setup

Donahue shocks and weight has not been a factor, but I hear what you are saying. I intend on replacing these 31s with BFG 255/85/16 when they wear out. I am in process of fabricating an auxiliary fuel tank between rear wheel wells not to rise above or extend beyond. I estimate approximately 25 gallons lol. This will require deaver 10 leaf pack which should support 600 to 800 pounds without affecting ride height, although concerned about a stiff ride. I currently have removed rear seat and replaced with a custom chest, installed dual batteries and currently installing a fabricated heat exchanger for hot showers in the field.

Heat exchanger hot showers is exactly what I'm going with. I've seen onboard pressurized tanks but they all miss the hot water mark. Going to recover heat from my radiator and use an inline booster pump. Ill use a 3 way vlv to redirect water as needed for showers.

My truck is also named Lucille. I like your style.

My son and I had been drinking and this was a pic from when we were fabricating a method to secure them lol

I fabricated a heat exchanger and will install it to the heater coil lines after the coil. A shurflo 12 volt 4008 pump fits very well other side of air intake. A pic of heat exchanger and will go behind coors can on fire wall. the heater coil controller will be moved a bit.

The mess is from a busted radiator which we replaced while sober lol, but that did not last long.

Fabbing up your own heat exchanger. I'm impressed. Purchased plate and frame heat exchanger for me.

beast ride height set with struts before shocks.jpg

My son and I are building this beast. We currently have the King coil overs but have to fabricate a new upper control arm to allow for the king bypass shocks. We installed a V8 last month lol.

the plumbing between auto and pluming is not compatible, although I worked it out. I am ready to install mine, but what you mentioned, i am not familiar. It is getting late and we should get some rest lol.

I'm a power plant operator. We use industrial "plate and frame heat exchangers." Here's an internet picture of what one of ours at work looks like:

And the much more scaled down version of what I just purchased for Lucille:
