    I had my nickname painted on the front of my bugshield back in the 1990's. Was at a World of Outlaws race and looked back at my truck from the grandstands in time to see a drunk grab the middle of the bugshield to steady his drunk ass and he broke it. Mine was black on a black 1991 Ford Nite pick-up. I miss that truck. :(

    E1F664AF-8AA4-4A8B-B791-2B10EC9700AA.jpg Oem Toyota, chipped windshield, chips up on the front edge of the roof and bugs galore within any 3-7hour trip through the passes here in B.C. can’t compare it to non deflected hoods, but for what it’s worth I can’t say it’s any use other than aesthetics.     I have the AVS brand but liking this matte black. So far havent had any windshield issues on my taco yet so i assume it works so far? like you said, its just like insurance.
