hood door-pump??

    does anyone know how to install a door pump for the hood to slowly come down on its own???

    bestop supertop, rubber bed mat, weathertech floor mats
    Id think that it wouldn't properly seal if it closed gently. My little brother use to lower his hood slowly by hand and then push it closed but dented his hood from pushing down.

    Now, easy up is a different story. You can buy redline hood struts and install them, many people have done it here. Search it and there's at least a few write ups on that.

    Def get the redline hood struts. Bought 'em for my mustang a few years ago. They work great. Nice quality. They're on the list for my Tacoma...
