    i am curious as well.

    Might have been the I really Don`t want to mess with this type of quote!!

    Yet if he bites I know this guy down the road I still make 25% on the job free and clear.

    The welder did not say. I really thought that piece of metal was worse than I thought. He did mention he charges $250/hr

    very little at that rate .

    Have prices gone that crazy in California to have a rate like that competitive?

    I'm $50 an hour if I'm fabricating.

    Less of course for cutting; I do flat rate jobs for that stuff.
