    Well, looks I get to be the first to REMOVE my name from the list. *hears eruption of cheers from #'s 25 and up now that they all move one place up the list* I did my bed LED mod and had some left over LED strip so I just went ahead and wired up my hood light with the left-overs. I got tired of waiting and since I had the materials I decided to just go ahead and do it. I'm very happy with the results and I'm sure everyone who does this mod will feel likewise.     That is one CLEAN installation. Nice work man, thanks for sharing with us!
    So glad I went with the ATC fuses to haha. I remember thinking "yeah they're better quality and a little easier to replace..and in the rare event someone has an aux fuse box they'll love it" haha not so rare now!

    Oh, it's no hard feelings at all man. Just sorry my OCD wouldn't allow me to wait for one of your kits after waiting as long as I did. I just had some parts left over and a little bit of time so I was like.. heck with it, Imma do some hood lights too! lol Sorry for flaking out on you when it was so close to my turn like that. From the looks of things you won't have any problem filling the void I leave behind though. Best of luck and congrats on what looks like a quality product that many are sure to enjoy! :cool:

    WOO! Nice job brother! Looks really nice. I should've uploaded a pic of where I put the switch on the first gen but you seem to have found a decent spot for one. Installation looks perfect and I am honored to have my sticker on your truck :D
    P.S. Now that I've seen a close-up, damn those sliders look WAY nice. The kick outs are bad-ass, never seen that design before. Nice rig!

    Edit: I just noticed you may have forgotten to take off the red backing of the double sided tape on the LED's. That may lead to the double sided tape on the LED's getting exposed to dirt and water making the adhesive not last as long. I would try to peel that off if you can and stick it up to the hood. Otherwise, nice job! :thumbsup:

    Thanks! Yea i didn't feel like whipping out the drill i was determined to make one of the pre drilled holes work haha. I think the sticker looks great (first one on the side windows lol)
    Yea Jerry does excellent work. I'm planning on getting lots of stuffs from him in the near future.

    Yep your right about the red tape. lol. wasn't sure about it so i just left it. Ill do it in the morning after i drive to work.

    Awesome! If i'm not mistaken you wouldn't need to drill anything using the hole just to the left of the rubber hood rest/bumper thingy. It's that thing that's to the left of your current switch location. There's that hole next to it, i've used it before and I barely needs adjustment and no extra drilling.


    EDIT: I made a picture. I guess both locations work, it's up to the installer! Yay for options/indecision.

    you know i tried that spot first because it would have been a lot easier/cleaner but couldn't get it to work right. It wouldn't press the switch when i closed the hood it would just bend the switch a little bit lol. All In all i still think this is just as good of a location.

    edit: I did replace my radiator support though and the hood as well.. so it might just be because some of my stuff doesn't line up perfectly.

    Bare with me fellas, I'm in the last stretch of my classes, (13 days left) and I've got nothing but huge assignments and finals. This week is crucial to not wasting the last 14 weeks of my life. Funny how THAT is my motivation. Im usually not motivated by school much, what IS motivating me is not letting all that time go for nothing. I can't let that shit happen, I was tortured dammit!

    After this semester ends I can speed things up and hit that list like a 60mph head on collision with a freight train.

    Right now i've got to deal with assignments worth over 60% of my grade dropped on me like a sack of dog $hit.
